BACK-DOWN SETTINGS

EGT BACK-DOWN

The Attitude monitors the Ex-

haust Gas Temperature (EGT)

and will automatically de-fuel

the vehicle at your speciﬁ ed

max EGT set point.

As the exhaust gas temperature

approaches the EGT set point, a

percentage of de-fueling oc-

curs. This percentage is shown

as the back-down value you can

view on the Attitude display if

selected as an option. When this

value reaches 100% the fueling

delivered by the Juice module

has been totally disabled. How-

ever, stock fueling will allow

the vehicle to reach EGT levels

which may exceed the preset

Max EGT Set Point.

CAUTION: Other high perfor-

mance modiﬁ cations in addi-

tion to the Juice can allow the

fueling to exceed the max set

point and stock EGT levels,

even after 100% de-fueling by

the Attitude. This may result

in detrimental EGT levels and

potential power-train damage.

CAUTION: On the 1999-2003

Ford 7.3L, EGT Back-down

will remove even the stock

power in order to limit EGT

COLD ENGINE PROTECTION

This feature restricts the Juice

module from adding more pow-

er until the engine has reached a

minimum temperature. As the

engine warms up, more power

is added until a speciﬁ c engine

temperature is reached at which

point 100% Juice power is

available.

(NOTE: The 1999-2003 Ford

7.3L uses Engine Oil Tempera-

tures to determine when and

how much additional power is

to be added.)

LOW BOOST RESPONSE

This setting will allow you to

change the performance re-

sponse at low engine speed or

boost levels. Select the power

level for which you want to ad-

just the Responsiveness. Select

your level of responsiveness. 1

being the lowest and 5 being the

highest.
