DODGE ADAPTER INSTALL

The 2006-2011 Dodge trucks

require a “Y” style adapter that

plugs in between the ignition

module and the ignition harness.

There are two types of adapters.

Each is speciﬁ c to a certain set of

years.

1) Locate the Dodge Adapter

cables provided in the box. (see

Figures 34 and 35)

2) Locate the RED wire labeled

“IGN” on the main device and

route it through the ﬁ re wall

into the cab.

3) Connect the Dodge Adapter

to the routed “IGN” wire con-

nector.

4) Locate the key position con-

nectors under the dash. The

2006-2009 are up and inside

the steering column. The

2010-2011 are behind the key/

ignition module.

5) Connect the Dodge adapter

in between the truck connec-

tors. The 2006-2009 will be an

in-line cable coming from the

steering column.
